Should COVID-19 mask rules be strictly enforced in Strata Buildings?

With vaccines now starting to be administered across B.C. there is hope and light at the end of the tunnel. However, it is important to still keep measures in place for your strata to curb the virus as most of us won't get vaccinated until later this year.

The Condominium Home Owners Association of BC is urging strata corporations to enforce strict mask wearing policy for public spaces in condo buildings.

We all have felt the effect of COVID-19 across Vancouver Island. As Property Managers, here at Bayview we have heard from many strata owners, strata corporations and property developers how important it is to ensure a safe environment for all residents of strata buildings during this pandemic.

No matter if you live in larger centres like Nanaimo or Victoria or smaller communities such as Campbell River, Port Alberni and Tofino, implementing and enforcing COVID-19 policies have been a priority for us all even though many had to overcome a lot of challenges to keep our environments safe.
